Downtown Las Vegas

Plaza Hotel & Casino

  • New high limit room announced, located next to Hash House a Go-Go wrapping around to the table games pit
  • Will feature 60+ slots and table games
  • Design will match Plaza's old school theming in an elevated, upscale style
  • More details to come as opening approaches

El Cortez

  • Seagulls restaurant is fully walled up and under construction
  • Reopening expected fall 2026 as a more elevated day-to-night dining concept
  • Name change (from Seagulls 1941) still undecided
  • Current dining options while Seagulls is closed: Hot Nudes, Starbucks, and Eureka across the street
  • The Parlor Room walls have been removed — space looks fantastic and open

Fremont Street Experience

  • Free summer concert series lineup announced
  • Confirmed headliners: Lee Bryce, Austin Williams, Grace Tyler, Crossfade, Trapped Fuel, Finger Eleven
  • Additional acts to be announced throughout the summer
  • All concerts are free

The Strip

The Cosmopolitan

  • High limit room under construction — refresh expected to reopen summer 2026
  • Illy Cafe now open on the second floor (formerly a blow dry bar)
    • Large, beautiful seating area with strip views
    • Coffee, croissants, gelato available
  • BOGO buffet deal extended indefinitely for MGM Rewards Gold tier and above members

Harmon Corner

  • A second Bojangles location confirmed for the exterior space (near where the Sugar Factory is)

MGM Grand

  • MGM Grand Buffet closing May 31st — open since the resort launched in 1993
  • Excalibur Buffet is now the last remaining MGM buffet property

House of Blues / Foundation Room

  • Rebranding to Vinyl Room, set to open July 2026
  • Will spin real vinyl records, serve craft cocktails, and feature incredible views
  • Sister location already operating in LA

Bellagio

  • Le Cirque closing August 23rd after 27 years
  • High-end French cuisine restaurant has been a long-standing legacy dining destination
  • New concept arriving 2027 as part of Bellagio's ongoing dining overhaul

Cromwell → Vanderpump Hotel

  • No rooms were bookable throughout all of April during the transition
  • First available booking date: May 29th
  • Room renderings revealed — described as chic and feminine
  • Casino updates include new carpet, chandeliers, and paint

Caesars Palace / Omnia

  • Omnia Day Club opening weekend of May 15–17
  • Motorcycle jump over the Bellagio fountains planned for May 16th (Caesars has a permit for sidewalk closure 12–4 PM)
    • Historical note: Robbie Knievel completed the jump in 1989; Evil Knievel was unsuccessful in 1967
  • Massive new digital pylon sign now complete — expected to be fully accessible by the Omnia opening weekend

Hard Rock Cafe

  • New digital guitar sign added to the front of the restaurant

Off-Strip & Locals Casinos

Miracle Mile Shops (Planet Hollywood)

  • Soul Belly BBQ opening imminently — also has a location in the Arts District

Red Rock Casino

  • Good Pie (pizza) opening May 11th — also has a location in the Arts District

The English Hotel

  • KJ's now open, replacing Pepper Club
  • Brunch menu includes wagyu pastrami and fresh pastries
  • Dinner menu features premium steaks, seafood, and craft cocktails

Durango Casino & Resort

  • Expansion construction underway in the Eat Your Heart Out food court area
  • Expansion will include a bowling alley, Moonshine Flats (popular country bar), and additional dining
  • New Fortune Coin Bonus Room now open in the former high limit room space
    • Features mini, major, and grand jackpots — all must-hit-by amounts
    • Any player in the room with a player's card can hit jackpots on any machine
    • Bonus: if anyone in the room hits a jackpot, all players with a card get $25 in free play
  • Via's Tacos replacing Fiorella Pasta Bar in the food court
