We explored three cities in the United Arab Emirates — Sharjah, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi — during Ramadan, and this trip was nothing like we expected. 

From local museums in Sharjah, to iconic Dubai landmarks like the Burj Khalifa, Museum of the Future, and Dubai Marina, to the stunning Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi — we saw both the cultural and modern sides of the UAE.

We rented a car to road trip the country, stayed in unique hotels (like a Curio Collection hotel in Old Dubai), and tried local restaurants and dishes you won’t find in the typical Dubai travel vlog.
