Our Story

TravelTube.com was created by Mark Murphy, a travel expert and TV personality who has been regularly featured, for almost two decades, across main stream media channels seeking out his advice for their viewers. After selling his first travel media company to a private equity firm in 2019, and upon the expiration of his non-compete clause, Mark has set out to change the landscape of travel media once again. It begins with TravelTube.com.

If you've ever seen Mark on TV you've probably noticed his numerous references to the actual travel experts: travel agents/advisors. While he can talk travel trends and issues on a macro level, he always recommends travelers seek out and engage with the individual sellers of travel for their expert, granular and informed advice. While most media outlets have a handful of writers/editors covering travel, usually from a keyboard, TravelTube will highlight and share the stories of these experts, who literally travel for a living as they scope out new locales, resorts, activities and more, for clients around the world. It will feature in depth interviews, as well as photos/videos of their travels, and most importantly, their insights.
